What's a small thing a stranger did for you that you've never forgotten?

Yesterday, I was leaving a restaurant and realized someone was holding the door open for me while I was digging through my bag to find my metro card. It was a small gesture, but for some reason it stayed with me for the rest of the day.

It got me thinking about how so many of the moments we remember aren't huge gestures. They're tiny acts of kindness that make an ordinary day feel a little nicer.
