You don't need to be a parent to read these
Hi Girlies,
NOTE: These books do not give any immediate tip or hacks on how to handle a child.
Children have always been considered second class citizens. Anyone can say or do bad things to them without any fear of consequences. Because how does feelings of a kid even matter? Right?
Sharing these two recommendations.
No, I am not a parent or planning to be. In fact, I am scared to be one, as I know I might goof up.
And I am also not expecting my parents to read these and apply on me. Too late for that, I guess.
While reading this I imagined a child on whom to apply this and I imagined little me.
Children are difficult and easy to comprehend at the same time. I don't know how to articulate this further. Basically, a child is a bundle of feelings.
Not getting to play with a piece of cardboard might be "whatever" moment for us but for a kid?.... it is the end of the world. Not even exaggerating.
They will cry over things that are miniscule to us but for them it is a do or die (cry) situation for them.
I am reading this to understand my own self and may be heal the inner child in someways, I guess. There is no one solution to all the problems.
And I feel these books can also help with the other relationships of life.
GIVE THESE a read, if possible
