Tumhare baare me - I'm going to this live theatre show on 5th April

This is a play written by Manav Kaul and honestly, if you know his work, that alone is reason enough to watch it.

Having seen his self-written one-man show Trasadi, I’ve experienced how beautifully he captures the quiet, everyday emotions of relationships.

And then there’s Tahera, who previously directed the live adaptation of The Kite Runner that I watched last month.

She’s directing this one too.

Here’s the thing about theatre (or even films): you can have a powerful story and brilliant actors, but without a director who knows how to bring it all together and draw out the best, it falls flat.

So come watch Tumhare Baare Mein with me, a Hindi play set in a cafe, exploring the lives of three couples and what love looks like in today’s world of social media.
