Currently there's nothing i really wanna buy. Because I'm more into repeating my same old clothes. Sustainability matters.

Go for it
I'm planning to get a WiFi connection for my house. I've been avoiding it for months now. I feel like my mobile data is enough but then it's not good when I host online meetups. I'm the one who constantly glitches πŸ˜”

Another thing I'm planning to get is a gym membership. But I'm not able to wake up on time and somehow I'm still staying in office late. Which makes it difficult to do anything after reaching home. I feel like I'll waste money if I get a membership.

What do you think? Should I buy these 2 things or not?
Wifi definitely.. Gym, maybe try cult. You have an option to pause it. That may help alleviate the "wasting it" worry.
My worry is that I'll permanently pause it 😝
And then you will know that it isn't for you.. you live n you learn πŸ˜…πŸ˜…
I just wish my mistakes weren't this expensive 🫰🏻
I will give it a go though. Some fine day!

Yes for both. Wake up early for the gym. And if there's a cult near office then it's a win win
There's a cult near office and near my house as well. After office I feel like dying though πŸ₯Ί
i relate hard with this. there are 3 cults in the vicinity of my pg/office but i’m still hesitating to commit and buy a membership
a new laptop. i’ve been trying to save up for it and i even got myself a credit card for the discount or in case i want to take the no-cost EMI route. RAM costs are only gonna go up so ideally now is the best time to buy one. but i only use my personal laptop for gaming with my friends at night after work.
so i can’t make up my mind whether its justified to drop 1lakh+ on a laptop with good gpu, tgp and stuff.
back in college (a year ago lol) i was a big coding geek and used the shit out of my poor laptop so it wouldve made sense to upgrade then but now i barely get time away from my work laptop.

so then i start to wonder if it’ll suffice to buy a laptop that’s great for coding and all the other stuff i used to do, which will be 15-20k cheaper but wont have a good gpu (not good for gaming).

GAH I CAN’T DECIDEEE

So the option is get a cheaper laptop for coding because that's what you usually do now or a expensive laptop for gaming which you loved to do but cannot do it anymore because of time.

I say go for gaming laptop because you already have one for coding. And once you have one for gaming, you'll automatically find time for gaming because you would be enjoying the experience!
I second what Prachi said..

Like you point out, GPU is just gonna cost more, it makes more sense to get that gaming laptop now. I myself have a 1.5 lac legion pro, when I don't even use its GPU ever! But I have a laptop of my own and don't need to use office one for my personal tasks.

It's just good sense to have the best spec personal laptop. My last one staid with me for 10 years. You don't really change your laptop that frequently, so the cost is totally justified IMO.
okayy i agree with y’all,
i think i’ll go for the gaming laptop then.
i was leaning toward getting a legion or omen.
i’ll add more options and get the best one during big billion days sale
no i’ll be exchanging my current personal laptop when i buy the new one. so the choice is between a normal laptop for my light uses vs a good gpu laptop for occasional gaming

A good one for gaming. You can still do your light usage on a gaming one but can't do gaming as smoothly on a laptop meant for light usage
