Bare Minimum Can’t Be the Standard of a Healthy Relationship. Join our live discussion on this topic on 11th Feb, 4pm IST
For a long time, I’ve watched how women are subtly conditioned to accept less in relationships, especially under the pressure of being “chosen,” partnered, or loved in a way that looks good from the outside.
Somewhere along the way, basic decency started getting framed as effort, and emotional neglect was softened with excuses.
This TwoXTalks session is about calling that out. We’re talking about why the bare minimum has become the benchmark for a “good relationship,” how that standard quietly harms both women and men, and why choosing yourself is often the more honest, powerful option.
As part of our February Love Series, this conversation pushes back against performative romance and focuses on something far more important, self-respect, emotional clarity, and the courage to walk away from what doesn’t meet your standards.
