"Leaving Home: The Hardest Leap, The Best Decision" Meetup Recap

On 19th April, we hosted yet another Twoxtopia meetup 💛

This time, the theme was simple, but something almost everyone in Bangalore relates to:
“Leaving Home: The Hardest Leap, The Best Decision.”

Bangalore is full of people who’ve left their cities behind be it for jobs, for studies, sometimes by choice, sometimes because life just took them here.

Some of us planned it.
Some of us had no option.
And for some, it just happened.

But what we all had in common?
We left home and it changed us.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve been here for years or just a few months.

You still carry the same mix of things, the lessons, the independence, the quiet regrets, the homesickness, and the responsibilities you probably wouldn’t have learned if you hadn’t stepped out.

So we got together and talked about it.
Shared stories, patterns, feelings all the things we don’t always say out loud.

Because sometimes, that’s exactly how women bond.
By just talking it out.

This meetup was also a little special.
The idea came from something personal, and also from the very first podcast we ever hosted, the one we actually shot live. So it felt like things had come full circle in a way.
