Make it feminist, please

Did anyone else lose their enjoyment of old bollywood movies after growing up, because you cannot see past the obvious problems 😖

I cannot enjoy a lot of romance movie/book tropes for the same reason- they ignore consent like a politician ignoring accountability

There are ways of making intelligent story lines which acknowledge the gender while staying respectful- one of the reasons i liked the recent Vibe movie so much. Feels like ages where a comedy movie does not treat the female lead as an eye candy
