Uber drivers are too bossy!

I just don't understand one thing. If I am booking an uber during rush hours that means either I am already running late or maybe I am really not willing to take the public transportation for that day, then why do some uber drivers internationally accept a ride just to cancel it?

#uber must have some strict policies where once a driver accepts a ride they cannot cancel it for no valid reason. My uber driver accepted the ride, called me to confirm the location, came to pick me up and then cancelled the ride after the ride started all because he wanted to go to another direction urgently which was opposite to my drop location. And I had to pay a penalty price for that!?.

How am I at fault here? 😭

These over bossy drivers who does what they want to do should be taught some basic manners🫩
