Let's help each other make this Diwali long weekend less lonely! 🪔💛

Not everyone has plans for the long weekend. Some of us might be travelling, some might be staying back in the city, and some might simply be looking for company.
So why not help each other make plans? Let's keep things simple and let's keep it free wherever possible.
Now whether it's a trip, a house party, an online game night or a casual meetup, here's how you can make it happen on TwoXTopia!
🧳 1. Planning a trip?
Heading somewhere for the long weekend? Create a post in the Tag-Along section!
Share your destination, dates and any other relevant details. Other women who are interested can connect with you and book with the same travel group and go together
You don't have to travel alone if you don't want to!
🏡 2. Want to host a house party?
Have a place where you can host a few women? Organise a women-only Diwali house party!
Once you've finalised your attendees, let us know which users you approved by DMing us on our instagram handle and also let us know the exact address. TwoXTopia will email the exact location to the women you've approved.
All members are verified women, so you can connect with other members without having to worry about whether they're genuine women. Please still use your discretion when hosting or attending private gatherings.
🎮 3. Want to organise an online hangout?
Don't want to step out? That's perfectly fine!
Organise an online game night, movie discussion, virtual coffee date, dumb charades, Heads Up or anything else you can think of.
I'll be hosting an online Diwali hangout on Tuesday, 10th November, with games like Heads Up, Impostor, 20 Questions and Dumb Charades. I will post about it's details on Monday in hangout section
But why stop there?
If you'd like to organise something online on Saturday, Sunday, Monday or Tuesday, go ahead! You can use a similar format or come up with something entirely different.
Create a post, mention the date and time, and invite other women to join. Also put the Google Meet link in the virtual meetup field. Don't put it in description. This way only the verified members can see your link!
🌳 4. Want to organise a casual public meetup?
Maybe you want to meet women for a karaoke session, a walk, a picnic or just spend an evening chatting.
If you're planning something free in a public space like Cubbon Park or Lalbagh, feel free to organise it and post in the Hangout section.
Mention the date, time, meeting point and what everyone can expect.
💬 Not ready to host?
That's okay too! Drop a comment below saying where you'll be this weekend and what you'd enjoy doing. Someone nearby might be looking for exactly the same thing. (Please don't share addresses or phone numbers in the comments.)
A little reminder 👇🏻
You don't have to wait for someone else to make plans.
If there's something you'd like to do, put it out there. Someone else might be waiting for exactly the same thing!
You don't have to be an event organiser or have everything figured out. Start small, invite a few women and see where it goes.
Let's make this long weekend about meeting new people, making friends and creating some lovely memories together.
Happy Diwali, ladies! 🪔✨
PS : Don't forget to post about how it all went here on twoxtopia so we all either learn from you or feel the FOMO, lol.
