I hope you still had a good time anyway.
Just one small suggestion: I think this post would fit better under the Tag Along and Movies flairs rather than Hangout. Since the activity already existed and you were mainly looking for someone to join you, it falls more under Tag Along.
The difference is quite subtle. Hangout is usually when you're organizing the meetup yourself and deciding how it will look, whereas Tag Along is when the activity is already planned and you're simply looking for company.
No worries though, it's an easy thing to mix up 🙂
